Tyranny is an RPG released on the PC platform, developed by Obsidian studio specializing in this genre, i.e. a team with such titles as Pillars of Eternity, Neverwinter Nights 2 or Fallout: New Vegas.
The action of the game is set in a gloomy, original fantasy land, long after the dark creature known as Kyros defeated the mortal forces, killed the heroes and took control of the whole world, introducing the title tyranny everywhere. The main character is a person who benefited from such a turn of events. We play the role of an officer in Kyros' army, who is a judge and executioner for ordinary people, who makes sure that the will of a despot is carried out.
This does not mean that we are forced to play with a psychopath who enjoys murdering innocent people. There is, of course, an option, but an equally effective way to keep the people loyal to Kyros is to establish ruthless but just rule. In addition, the high position of characters on the social ladder means that even small decisions have a significant impact on the situation in the world, shaping the future of the entire universe and its thousands of inhabitants.
Tyranna takes less time to complete than Pillars of Eternity, but this time Obsidian put much more emphasis on completing the game multiple times. During the game, we make many more key choices that change the course of events - we can, inter alia, ally with one of the few factions and use them for your own ends.
