Disgaea 4 Complete + is an extended and complete port of the tactical RPG Disgaea 4 , originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2011. The title is a combination of turn-based strategy and traditional RPG. The whole thing was watered with large doses of specific Japanese humor, which is the hallmark of its producer, Nippon Ichi Software studio, which, despite more than twenty years of history, due to bad business decisions, was on the verge of bankruptcy in 2019. In the production, players will find many references to pop culture and jokes from the patterns used in role-playing games as well as movies and books from the fantasy genre. Complete + versionincludes a number of graphical improvements, as well as the full content of all DLCs released so far, which include new items, scenarios and playable heroes. The title also features minor improvements to the gameplay model that are known from subsequent parts of the series. Story The action of Disgaea 4 Complete + , traditionally for the entire series, takes place in the Underworld. The main character of the story is a several hundred-year-old vampire named Valvatorez, who was a merciless tyrant and terror among his subordinates. Due to the promise made, however, he stopped drinking blood and fell into the ranks of the hellish hierarchy.The woman before whom he took vows, however, died soon and ended up in the world of the dead, where her soul most likely turned into a little creature - Prinny. When Valvatorez learns that the authorities of the Underworld are planning to exterminate most of the Prinni, he decides to do whatever it takes to re-climb to the top of power and stop the operation. At his side is a werewolf named Fenrich, whom he met while working as a prison guard. Finally, the plans to overthrow the demonic government of the Underworld are joined by a young girl named Fuuka, who mysteriously lost her life. Gameplay The gameplay model in Disgaea 4 Complete + remained unchanged compared to other titles in the series. We spend most of our time in the game on three-dimensional battlefields. The skirmishes take place on boards separated by a grid of square fields, on which both the units under our orders and all opponents move.Each character in a given turn may move and attack an enemy within its range. We can use various combinations of attacks, spells and abilities, as well as special combos that deal huge damage. Each of the subordinates has their own set of skills, special moves and equipment that can be modified during the game. Our base is Hades.
