Whether it is the pendant or the floor lamp, the round ball appears to almost magically sustain itself in the air. The Random lamps were designed by the Dutch designer Bertjan Pot, and due to the manufacturing method behind these lamps, you will not find two Random lamps that are alike. Besides this, even if they look like it, the lamps will never be perfectly round. Moooi Smoke Dining Chair Black

Design: Maarten Baas, 2002 for Moooi Concept: When it comes to being innovative and different, Moooi is one of the best in the business. By approaching the way in which a chair can be produced with completely different perspectives, Moooi has created the Smoke dining table chair in collaboration with Maarten Bass. At first glance, this chair appears to be quite normal. But when you get closer, you can clearly see exactly how different the interesting and innovative design is. The entire wooden frame of the Smoke chair has been burned off with fire to create the very special pattern in the wood, which can only be achieved by burning it. Although the chair has been burned in the manufacturing process, it has been treated with epoxy resin that frames and preserves the beautiful details that occur during the burning of the chair. The treatment also helps to strengthen the chair and make it impossible for the burnt wood to rub off on clothes or the like. Since the manufacturing process of the Smoke chair is so different, each individual Smoke chair will also be completely unique. This means that it cannot be guaranteed that every single chair will look the same. However, this just adds another layer of admirable uniqueness to the already special design.

Moooi Pig Coffee Table Black

Design: Front, 2006 for Moooi Concept: Many of Moooi's products are special, different and very interesting, and this certainly also applies to their Pig coffee table. This coffee table, made of ABS and polyester, has the shape of a small pig, but with a smaller tray fixed on top of its back, thereby making it possible to place vases, books or even a cup on top. Make the coffee table something for itself, and is definitely an object you don't see in many places. The table catches, and not least, demands attention.
