Age of Empires II HD: Rise of the Rajas Europe Steam Altergift

Rise of the Rajas is the third major DLC to Age of Empires II: HD Edition, released in spring 2013 for PC. Despite relatively small changes compared to the original from 1999, the production turned out to be quite a commercial success and brought back to life one of the highest rated real-time strategies in history. SkyBox Labs and Forgotten Empires, the same duo that created the two previous DLCs for the game, are responsible for the development of this add-on. Gameplay The most important novelty of Age of Empires II HD: Rise of the Rajas are four brand new Asian civilizations: Burmese, Khmer, Malays and Vietnamese, each of which also received its own unique unit. In addition, the game features two previously unavailable universal units (i.e. available for each nation), i.e. battle elephants and imperial infantrymen. Along with the new factions, we also received four additional campaigns (one for each side), taking place in the respective nations in Southeast Asia. The Rise of the Rajas expansion pack also brings some minor novelties, including a completely new type of terrain, i.e. mangrove forests, which can be used by both land and water units. The whole is complemented by five new random, special and historical maps, improved artificial intelligence of units, a special observer mode and additional objects for the map editor built into the game.
