In addition, there is an extensive trading system (including sea trade), trees for technological and scientific development, and exploration. Early in the game, it's a good idea to send explorers deep into the island in search of new minerals and deposits. However, they must be wary of wild animals and hostile natives. A novelty in the game is the ability to create your own dynasty. Members of the ruling family can become not only leaders but also managers of many enterprises and factories on the island. Over time, they gain experience and cope with their duties better and better. Of course, having your people in key positions is extremely helpful in staying in power.
