Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a simulation game developed by Blackbird Interactive studio. We are talking about a band whose portfolio includes RTS called Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak. Production allows us to play the role of a collector of space scrap, earning a living by selling parts dismantled from abandoned ships. Story Hardspace: Shipbreaker takes us into a future where interstellar travel is part of everyday life. As technology is constantly evolving, obsolete spacecraft are abandoned and littered with Earth's orbit. The main character of the game is Cutter, a collector of space scrap, who intends to get rich by selling components dismantled from such wrecks. First, however, the protagonist has to pay off the huge debt of one billion credits he took at LYNX in order to start his career. Gameplay In Hardspace: Shipbreaker, the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). In the course of the game, we dismantle valuable parts from wrecks of spacecraft and systematically transport them to our own ship. In the meantime, we can also learn more about the history of the dismantled units (many of them came to orbit from deep space) and learn about the history of their crews. Of course, we don't work with our bare hands; the protagonist has useful equipment, including a laser cutter. Thanks to it, we can not only cut specific components, but also create additional entrances to ships (most often from the inside, because the materials from which their outer shells are made are sometimes too hard). These are needed both for faster movement and for easier transport of larger parts that would not fit in a lock or standard manholes. In addition, we have a rope at our disposal, thanks to which we can more efficiently move over longer distances in conditions of almost zero gravity or bind individual objects together, which facilitates their transport. As individual ships are procedurally generated, we often have to use a handheld scanner that allows you to quickly find out about the layout of the rooms and the location of useful scrap.

Insurgency: Sandstorm is a first-person shooter multiplayer game, developed by New World Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive SA. It’s the sequel to Insurgency released in 2014. The game takes realism in FPS games to new heights with simplified HUD, which doesn’t display anything but the very basic crosshair. Insurgency: Sandstorm emphasizes teamwork, with default co-op and several online multiplayer modes.  Gameplay Insurgency Sandstorm takes the path of its predecessors and highly expands on the mechanics already presented in previous games in the series. Sandstorm is an online multiplayer FPS with a heavy emphasis on realism, which can be immediately noticed through gameplay. The video game starts with the player customizing their character. They can decide on details like the character’s appearance, hair and its color, facial hair, clothing and accessories, and so on. The true Insurgency: Sandstorm experience starts on the battlefield. You can forget about the usual staples of online multiplayer shooters, such as minimaps, ammo counts and health bars. Sandstorm emphasizes realism and it does it brutally.     Character classes, weapons, and game modes The matches in Insurgency Sandstorm are divided between some modes available in the game. Before the match, the player will have to choose their team, Security or Insurgency, the character’s class weapon loadout. Classes include rifleman, breacher, demolition, and marksman. Each class has its specific uses: breacher clears closed spaces, marksman takes out enemies from afar, the rifleman is an all-purpose assault class, etc.   The game modes include one co-op type and several multiplayer versus and bloodthirsty matches. The title was developed by Spiders studio, which has in its portfolio such titles as The Technomancer or Bound by Flame, while its release was handled by Focus Home Interactive.  GreedFall takes us on a journey to a fantastic 17th century stylized universe. The overpopulated and polluted Old World is being decimated by a mysterious plague known as Malichor. Its inhabitants see a chance for rescue in the New World, and more precisely - in the island of Teer Fradee, allegedly full of treasures and other secrets, where the indigenous people live in harmony with nature. As the colonizers become bolder and bolder there, relations between them and the natives become more and more tense. In the course of the game, we play the role of a young legate of the Merchant Congregation who comes to the island to deal with diplomatic relations with other nations, but above all - to find a cure for a disease that destroys the Old World. During the adventure, we must make efforts not to expose ourselves too much to either the indigenous people (protected by the so-called Guardians - monsters and other supernatural beings who are a manifestation of magic at work here), or representatives of other factions from the continent. The decisions we make affect not only the distribution of power on the island, but also how you will be able to perform many tasks. We start playing GreedFall with the character creation process, which includes choosing a gender and a few basic attributes. The creators decided to use the hero development system without dividing into classes - there are over a hundred skills to be unlocked here, divided into three extended categories and allowing the protagonist to be adapted to the individual style of the game. The story is driven by tasks that we can perform in several ways. While nothing prevents you from using force to solve problems, it is often better to use deception or rely on your diplomatic skills. The path we take, as well as which of the parties we support in a given dispute, affects not only our reputation, but also the local geopolitical situation. In addition, the choices we make have an impact on which of the potential companions decides to join us, and on his later attitude towards the hero - it is possible to lead to both a romance and an open conflict with a given ally. During the long campaign, both people, local animals and the above-mentioned monsters, called the Guardians, stand in our way. During the fight, we use melee and firearms, which can be improved by making use of an extensive crafting system; the same goes for The three-dimensional graphics of GreedFall are pleasing to the eye. When working on the visual layer of the production in question, the developers modeled themselves on Baroque works of art and colonial-era sources.
