Iron Danger is an RPG game developed by a small Action Squad studio. The company was founded by experienced developers who previously worked, among others in Rovio ( Angry Birds series ) and Remedy Entertainment ( Alan Wake ).
Story
The game was inspired by Nordic and Finnish myths and steampunk. During the game, we follow the adventures of a young woman named Kipuna - an ordinary girl who one day received power that gave her power over time and death. He must use these extraordinary skills to save the world from destruction.
Gameplay
Iron Danger is a three-dimensional, tactical RPG game designed to play as a single player . The gameplay is based on several foundations. The main one is the exploration of the world divided into several different lands. One of them is the extensive city of Kalevala - the capital of mankind. The second important place is the Northlands, i.e. the northern lands taken over by the evil witch Lowhee, whose army is moving towards the aforementioned metropolis. During the game, we also visit ancient temples, travel through mountains and forests and many other locations.
During the journey, we face various obstacles - from simple puzzles, through traps, to dangerous enemies (people, monsters, semi-mechanical creatures). Turn-based combat takes place on quite unusual rules. On the one hand, we can calmly make a move, e.g. attack the opponent or dodge. On the other hand, you can manipulate time, going back a bit, thus avoiding a blow or synchronizing the characters' attacks . While playing, we control Kipuna who wields magic and one of two warriors specializing in classic weapons.
