The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles was built on the mechanisms of the previous installments of the brand. Each case is divided into two phases. The first is the investigation during which we search locations, collect evidence and clues, and question witnesses. When we finish the preparations, it is time for the trial, during which we have to present our own theory and support it with arguments and evidence. In the course of investigations, the protagonist is often assisted by a detective named Herlock Sholmes (who is known to whom this character parodies).
