Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the next installment of the Call of Duty series. The action of the production takes place in a completely new universe, with previously unseen characters. Individual countries on Earth have formed the United Nations Space Alliance to jointly set out to conquer the solar system. Unfortunately, as it usually happens, some people are against international cooperation and it was from them that the Settlement Defense Front organization was formed, which started a great war with UNSA. Players take on the role of Captain Reyes - a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot, who took command of the powerful Retribution warship and, together with his crew, must stop the SDF forces.
The new universe is not the only major change introduced in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as the gameplay itself has also received various novelties. Of course, we are still dealing with an effective first-person shooter, but this time, players not only run and shoot on the ground, but also sit at the helm of Jackal fighters, participating in fierce sky battles. On the other hand, the Retribution warship is a kind of base from which we choose the next story missions, or set off on raids against enemy machines. Importantly, the production was designed in such a way that, throughout the game, players smoothly move from one element of the game to another, without too frequent loading screens.
