Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War is the seventeenth main installment of the popular FPS series, developed by Activision Blizzard since 2003. The production was developed by the publisher's Treyarch studio, which has been in charge of the Black Ops sub-series since its inception.  Story The plot of Call of Duty Cold War is a standalone story that does not require knowledge of the previous installments of the series to understand. Nevertheless, the game features characters known from previous productions under this banner, led by Mason, Woods and Hudson, and they are joined by a CIA agent, Russel Adler, who has not been introduced to the players before. As the title suggests, the action of the game is set during the Cold War; during the game, however, we have to thwart the plans of an enigmatic KGB agent, known under the code name Perseus. Interestingly, the game has several endings - which one we see depends on the decisions we make during the final stages. Gameplay In Black Ops Cold War we observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). Interestingly, for the first time in the series, we will create our character - the hero we will play. We cannot decide on the appearance, but we will choose the gender, the history of previous service and perks that facilitate the game. The pillar of the single player mode are missions that take us to various corners of the world; the latter included a gigantic Soviet training facility for soldiers, as well as cities such as Moscow and Berlin. The tasks we face are diverse - although there are many of them that require us to take part in bloody and spectacular shootings, we often act quietly, sneaking up behind the backs of enemies. Interestingly, from time to time, the authors also allow us to decide how we will solve the problems that stand in our way. In addition, at certain moments we make choices that affect the further course of the plot and its ending. Transformers: Devastation is a third-person action game released on PlayStation 3. The production was developed by well-known, among others from Vanquish and the Bayonetta series, the Japanese studio Platinum Games. The project was inspired by the animated series The Transformers, broadcast on American television in 1984-1987. To recreate the atmosphere of the original, people from Platinum Games used the celshading technique in a way simulating the appearance of TV animations from the 1980s. The characters are voiced by the same actors who played the roles in the original cartoon, including Peter Cullen (as Optimus Prime), Dan Gilvezan (Bubblebee), and Frank Welker (Megatron and Soundwave). In the campaign, we stand on the side of the noble Autobots. We have to deal with the insidious Decepticons. The leader of them, Megatron, discovered the technology of plasma energy, which is able to transform the entire Earth into a cybernetic structure. Our task is to thwart these plans. There are five Autobots to choose from - Optimus Prime, Bubblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack and Grimlock. Each of these characters has unique offensive techniques. All heroes are able to instantly transform between the form of the vehicle and the appearance of a humanoid. Platinum Games is famous for its exquisite combat systems, and Transformers: Devastation is no exception to this rule. The skirmish mechanisms allow you to perform a number of different blows and counterattacks, and combine techniques into long combos. Many combinations require transformation as they are derived. For example, we can hit the opponent as a truck, and then smoothly start hitting him with fists as a robot. There is also a character skill development system, and an additional attraction is the presence of five levels of difficulty.
