The Settlers: New Allies - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

The Settlers: New Allies - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

The Settlers for PC is a reboot of the original game from the 1990s. It is a multi-layered building game with strategic real time battles, which returns to the roots of the highly popular series, which consists of 7 main games, several spin-offs, and one online game: but nothing was released between 2010 and 2022. This game captures the best of the game, adding superior animation and graphics. A tried and tested favourite made more immersive and fun! ABOUT THE GAME A group of settlers flee their home island which is under invasion. Arriving on the mainland, they set off on a journey of exploration into a medieval fantasy society as they attempt to find the promised land of their ancestors where they can settle and rebuild their civilisation. You must build settlements, find allies, explore new islands, and fight bandits, with the game’s main emphases being to explore, expand, and conquer. But do it carefully: expand too quickly, your men are easy targets; but if you go too slow, your nearby resources will be snatched up by enemies! The game’s graphics are richly detailed and vibrant, having been reimagined from the ground up. The stunning scenery is diverse, ranging through various biomes: lush green forests or dry arid deserts and featuring pristine territories, completely unexplored, abandoned ruins, or – and this is where your army comes in – other settlements! The different biomes all offer different resources, so it is worth your while to explore thoroughly and expand your borders. As is common with building games, crafting is an important feature. It enables you to bigger and better weapons, and build bigger and better settlements, so you can explore more and find more materials, and so on! There are various types of people in your faction, all vital for your success. Engineers explore and gain new territory, then surveying it to uncover mineral deposits that can be mined. They are quite slow, however, and must be protected as they cannot fight back when they are under attack – so you must send some of your army with them for their own protection. Your army protect the engineers, but must also make sure that the home base – and especially your warehouse – are safe from intruders. As well as engineers and soldiers there are a number of specialist craftsmen who help speed up your construction process; while your villagers fetch and carry as needed. You must build your infrastructure and economy to attract new settlers so you can outfit and train up your army. Activities include mining for raw materials – or stealing them from other settlements (another task for your army!). Building your army is key to your survival, and you can upgrade your troops by conducting military research and boosting support and siege units. Your soldiers are a good mix between up close melee fighters and ranged weapon fighters, allowing you a good amount of control over the way battles play out. THE NITTY GRITTY You can play single player or buddy up with two against two. You can play with a real person or an AI in these co-op games. Multiplayer offers various modes, all for up to eight players at a time. There is a full tutorial in the opening stages, so you know what you’re doing right from the off. Onslaught mode is a new way to play, allowing you to increase the difficulty by removing some of your advantages and boosting your opponents’. Building your settlement couldn’t be easier: click to select the right building from the menu, click again to position it, and then don’t forget to draw roads in between to connect them all up. Some defensive buildings are automatically triggered to protect your village, raining down arrows on unsuspecting enemy armies that are approaching, even if you are focussing elsewhere on the map. Sawmills make logs into planks, quarries turn boulders into bricks, and houses help your villagers to – ahem – produce more villagers! Your main inventory goes into your warehouse which should be central and protected fiercely – if you lose that, the game is pretty much over for you! Other buildings, while useful and a use of resources can come and go without impacting you too much – it is easy enough to rebuild, as long as you have a warehouse! Farms produce grain, windmills grind the grain into flour, and fishing huts and bakeries keep everyone fed and happy. Donkeys are useful as they provide faster transportation – they come from ranches, as do steaks which make your well-fed workers even more productive than fish and bread! WHO ARE YOU? There are three factions to chose between, and each have moderate differences in skill, weapons and the way they look and move. Once you’ve picked a faction, your people all wear the same colour scheme so it is easy to tell who is on who’s side, as well as there being some ethnic differences too: The Elari – vaguely central European they like clothes of blue, brown and white The Maru – of African descent, their striking colour scheme of cy

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

Ghost Recon: Wildlands for PC plays over the South American country of Bolivia, battling the Santa Blanca Cartel and destroying drug stashes as you interrogate, fight and storm your way ever closer to the defeat of the drug trade. ABOUT THE GAME Ghost Recon: Wildlands boasts one of the largest games’ maps ever seen, giving players a huge world to explore. On the beta version, there was only one province for players to test out, the final version has a massive twenty provinces, each of which could be a standalone game featuring challenges that include learning and using new skills, different modes of travel, raiding fortified cartel bases, and conducting interrogations, amongst other things. Each province contains at least one Santa Blanca Cartel boss to give you even more of a challenge. You can explore the entire map right from the beginning, and UbiSoft’s version of Bolivia is fantastically rendered, offering a glimpse inside caves and under jungle canopies as well as taking you to deserts, salt flats, mountains, swamps and lakes and quarries. PLAY FOR TERRAIN These differing terrains are more than simple stage dressing, just as in real life, you will have to alter your way of playing in order to navigate the changing textures and challenges presented by each geographical aspect. In the desert there is little cover to hide in, so you will have to flee from your enemies, preferably in an escape vehicle of some kind, while in the mountains you can hide and ambush your unsuspecting foes. Wildlands – for which the game is named – is perhaps the most fun, giving you plenty of options to use your own initiative, with the awkward terrain changing from a handicap to an advantage depending on how cunningly you think! The game premise remains fairly static for all twenty provinces. Being able to use innovative thinking to move the game along different paths means that it is never dull or ‘samey’. PLAY IT YOUR WAY The player is also allowed quite a lot of leeway in their actions which results in almost infinite combinations of play: each decision changes outcomes, sometimes slightly, sometimes quite significantly. For example, deciding to drive out with a high-profile prisoner, rather than have them flown out by helicopter seems to be a tame decision – right until the car rolls away down the hill, taking your target with it and leaving you in apparently futile pursuit. WEAPONS AND MORE Weapons and upgrades are scattered throughout the game and you can customise your weapon to suit your own tastes which is satisfying, as is the ‘boss weapon’ that is unlocked upon the successful defeat of a cartel boss. These beautiful weapons cannot be modified, but they do not need it – they are perfect as they are! MORE WAYS TO PLAY Solo You can play solo, in which case the game gives you three AI (artificial intelligence) companions who are good at obeying instructions – you could, for example, use them to lay down a certain firing pattern to shoot up an enemy troop. Co-op The other way to play is co-op, which is when you team up with other players to work together. This is both more dangerous and more fun because people are unpredictable! Play with your friends or make new friends from strangers. Unaided

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ragnarök Edition - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ragnarök Edition - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for PC is the 12th instalment of the Assassin’s Creed games, and this one takes place in the 9th century (beginning in 873AD) carrying you across Europe as you move your clan from a seriously overcrowded and war torn Norway to England, a green land of peace, prosperity and fertile fields in which to raise your crops. The UK might have a reputation as being a chilly and rainy place, but compared to near arctic desolation, it is not too bad a substiture! It is an open world action adventure game. WHAT TO DO? Siblings Eivor and Sigurd are the leaders of their intrepid band of Vikings and you play as Eivor, who can be male or female, as you choose. Do not worry about your gender, though, as you can change it on the fly, even in the heat of battle if you suddenly fancy a change. If combat is not your thing, there is still plenty to do in the game. Visit the stable to buy horses, pop into the fishing hut before hitting the streams and lakes, and keep your equipment up to date in the hunting hut. There is even an aviary where you can customise your ravens with such details as white flashes on their wings. As an added bonus, your fishing catch or hunting successes can be sold in exchange for various rewards or as in-game currency. Being a Viking, you will, of course, want to keep your access to the sea in good nick, and there is a shipyard where you can repair, maintain, build and replace your longboat. You will be busy at first, learning skills and crafting new items, even as you plant and raise crops, and enjoy occasional battles as raiders try and take what you have got. Establishing a bakery, cattle farm and brewery ensures that you and your clan are all well-fed, while Gunnar, the blacksmith, forges you some quite amazing weapons! The map-maker, or cartographer, is well worth keeping sweet as they can offer you special maps, from time to time, which can point you in profitable raiding directions – well worth the investment of a little friendship and a few gold coins. When you do decide to go on a raid, you can hand-pick your warriors from a handful of presets – all of whom can be customised slightly into a cohesive team. But it is not all battling – you can attend weddings of tribesmen, get far too drink and end up with a terrible and well-deserved hangover after rap battles that your character will be very happy to consign to the dustbin of their memory! DOESN’T SOUND VERY ASSASSIN-ORIENTED? Alongside mere living and survival, there are subplots in which the eternal battle between the Hidden Ones and the Order of Ancients imposes upon you the need to choose a side, usually the former. In between harvests, fishing, hunting and battling, you will find time to slip away, alone, with a companion or even with your entire band, to try and assassinate judiciously, aiming to restore the advantage to the Hidden Ones. You are aided in all your endeavours by three skill trees: Wolf stands for agility Raven means stealth Bear, on the other hand, values brute strength

Far Cry 5 - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

Far Cry 5 - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

Far Cry 5 for PC is a crazy fun action-adventure first person shooter in which you must be on your guard against weird and wacky opponents. Animals and enemies will try and take you out, while other animals and strangers might randomly take out those enemies for you. As the name implies, everything is a far cry from reality! ABOUT THE GAME You take on the part of a rookie sheriff’s deputy, going along with your colleagues to effect an arrest. Your mission is to arrest a cult leader named Joseph Seed who has a nasty habit of kidnapping people to force them to join his doomsday cult. The planned arrest, a joint mission between the Sheriff and his men and the US Marshals goes awry and Joseph Seed and his cult scatter into the bush, swearing hideous punishment on those who have interfered with them. A helicopter crash kills off some of your colleagues, leaving you to track the cultists and Seed down. The attempted arrest leads Seed to begin his end game, he and his followers believing that end times are upon the world. They are prepared to kill everyone in the county in order to ‘save’ their souls for eternity: it is your mission to track them down to minimise the death toll. It is an open world format, meaning that you can freely explore wherever you want to wander, collecting items that might be useful to you along the way – these can include big ticket things like planes and helicopters, as well as food, weapons and survival packs. NEW DETAILS This incarnation of the game offers a much wider range of melee weapons than before, allowing players to find their perfect weapon and hone their skills with it, before unleashing it on the enemy. The physics engines have been dramatically improved. For example, bullets fired over long distances now drop with every hundred metres or so, as is true in real life. Therefore, long shots need to be pitched upwards slightly, in order to counteract this authentic feature. WAYS TO PLAY Solo Play alone, wandering far and wide in the world, and watching all the excitement as it goes on around you and sometimes starring you! You can explore the map, go on a blood thirsty killing spree or simply find a quiet place by the river to fish. Do be aware though, that given the nature of the game, even a quiet moment fishing can turn into a blood bath with no warning! With a Friend Meet up with a buddy who is also online and team up to explore together, covering each other from enemy fire, and working together to bring down big game and large groups of cultists. With a Virtual Companion There are nine AI companions to choose from: namely, a bear, a mountain lion, a dog, and various people. The people are very talkative, while the bear is great for taking out enemies, and dog can scent cultists and other animals long before you are aware, they are there. You can also take along a ‘gun for hire’ or a specialist, such as a sniper for sneaky stealth attacks on distant outposts, to add to your firepower. ENDGAME Unlike most games, there are three endings to play out Deputy Says No If the deputy declines to press on with arresting Joseph Seed, Seed forgives him while taking the deputy’s companions into the cult, often under the influence of Bliss, a hallucinogenic drug that ensures a certain amount of compliance. It is widely used by the cultists to kidnap people. Deputy Arrests Seed If the deputy goes ahead with the arrest, all hell breaks loose – the vehicle carrying the arrested Seed in it crashes, killing almost everyone. The Deputy loses consciousness, only regaining it once Seed has carried him to a cabin, handcuffing him securely. Seed declares that the deputy is his family now, as the cult is destroyed. Secret Ending Obscurely, this ending occurs near the beginning of the game, should the Deputy decline to arrest Joseph Seed in the first instance, then the cataclysmic events that play out in the normal storyboard simply do not happen.

Watch Dogs 2 for PC is the sequel to the first game, and will benefit from a third edition in the near future. It is a third person perspective, action adventure game that is set in an open world setting. ABOUT THE GAME You play as Marcus Holloway, a rebel working to foil the cities authorities attempts to control the population using high-tech surveillance equipment. Marcus Holloway is a member of a hacktivist gang, one of their best, and it is his job to complete missions, bringing supporters to the gang, known as DedSec. The writers of the game wanted to incorporate a blurring of the lines between reality and fiction, and consulted with real hacktivists, semi-fictionalised some real life computer shenanigans, and devoted long hours to making the world inside the game feel authentic to the players – with a good deal of success in achieving this aim. Marcus must travel around the area, a fictionalised version of the San Francisco Bay Area, using any of the vehicles that he comes across, which include motorbikes, vans, cars, trucks, quad bikes and even boats. He has excellent manoeuvrability and can even use parkour to overcome objects and climb walls while travelling on foot. SINGLE PLAYER, MULTIPLAYER AND CO-OP PLAY While the core story arc deals with the player controlling Marcus Holloway alone as he navigates through the city, battling, hacking and sneaking about, there are also several fun and exciting multiplayer and co-operative play modes to explore too. With co-op play, you can meet up with fellow gamers’ avatars and make a loose team, heading off to explore the open world, complete missions and gain followers for DedSec. In multiplayer, you have a choice of various sub-games in which you can play one on one, alternately attacking other player’s to hack them, or defending your hack against others, two on two showdowns, where you and a partner battle it out with the opposing team to complete missions such as acquiring hard drives and so on. There are also several four on four missions that add excitement to the gameplay as you battle your opposition to lead the winning team to victory! THREE WAYS TO BATTLE Aggression: As it sounds, you use brute force, weapons and grenades to strong arm your way into buildings, aiming to complete your missions before an NPC (non-playing character) can summon the police who will try to arrest or detain you. You can shoot guns that are created on a 3D printer, plant explosives, or even use your own personal favourite, a jury-rigged billiard ball on a piece of bungee elastic Stealth: Instead of engaging and being loud and destructive, creep into buildings silently, place bugs and silently lift the data you need directly from servers and opposition premises. If you cannot avoid enemies altogether, you can always stun them with a swift blast from your taser, leaving them incapacitated while you ninja in, do your thing, and leave again Hacking: By far the most fun way to play, Marcus can do it all without leaving home. Sophisticated hacking puts Marcus in control of enemy cars, junction boxes and more – anything that can be connected to a network can be hacked from Marcus’s mobile phone or other devices. He is helped with a remote control quadcopter drone and a RC car that he can use to hack, plant explosives and virtually explore areas that could be dangerous

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 - Ubisoft Connect EUROPE Digital Key

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for PC follows on from the first game of the name. The first game dealt with the aftermath of a worldwide pandemic of weaponised smallpox (known as Green Poison) released in New York by an environmental terrorist. In the final days before the pandemic devastated society, the US government activated The Division – a domestic sleeper agency properly known as Strategic Homeland Division or SHD. It was The Division’s task to find the source of the disease and to maintain and/ or restore law and order. ABOUT THE GAME The sequel picks up the tale some seven months later and the action has moved to Washington. Washington has been evacuated of all government officials and Air Force One has crashed near Capitol Hill – information that is visually depicted with gut-wrenching detail – and rebels swarm the city. The Division is tasked with clearing out the city and gathering any valuables as might be nearby. There are a wealth of side-quests and challenges to keep your interest up along the way, including exploring the fallen Air Force One and discovering that the President is missing in action rather than decisively killed. The body of the plane contains a wealth of treasure, so be sure to explore it thoroughly, even while you keep an eye out for disenfranchised agents who have gone rogue, enemy militia and anyone else who might be out to steal your loot and otherwise ruin your day. GET TO KNOW WASHINGTON One very cool feature of the game is that the player’s base of operations is none other than the White House, allowing you to roam freely through corridors and offices that you have probably only otherwise seen on television news reports and the like. The whole game is open map, so you can ignore challenges and quests for a while and go off to explore the sights of Washington, from the Lincoln Memorial to the American History Museum. There are a series of running battles in the museum, allowing you to divert yourself for a while by battling on the Mars exhibit for a space age feel, or the Vietnam recreation for a taste of brutal (and possibly tactless) warfare. There is a great range of weapons even before any mods and extras are added to them to boost their firepower, so make the most of each site to scout around and find all the secret stashes. You can find and use guns ranging from an old Civil War era rifle up to futuristic hand-guns, and all weapons are usable and customisable – although the above-mentioned rifle doesn’t exactly hold its own against modern weaponry! WAYS TO PLAY Solo Take your time exploring the game map and working your way through the missions and quests. Keep your eyes peeled for AI enemies who might be creeping up on you to steal all your hard-won loot or to shoot you, sending you back to your previous save point! Multiplayer
